"The Season" begins

In other social circles, the beginning of "the season" conjures up different images;  Hockey season, tourist season, fishing season, hunting season, the rainy season, holiday season, hay fever season, etc.

Right now in Tahsis my friends and I are considering it the start of "Wieners at the Leiner" season!

We pack up a picnic of hot dogs, salad, chili, marshmallows or whatever else strikes our fancy and meet out at the Leiner campground just outside of Tahsis for a fire and dinner, with kids and dogs and whoever else wants to join in!  Bring your own camp chair, plate, and fork, a few sticks of firewood, and it's all you need.
