Tahsis Senior's Society Community BBQ

A whopping 110 people came out to enjoy the excellent BBQ put on by the Tahsis Senior's Society to celebrate receiving a Federal New Horizons for Seniors Grant.  For a town of 300 this is an incredible feat!

They served burgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings, coleslaw, potato salad and fruit, soft drinks, tea and coffee, everything you could want for a delicious barbecue with friends and neighbours of all ages.  President Bill Carpenter manned the grill for hours, and all the seniors worked tirelessly to put on a great community event that everyone enjoyed.

Thanks for being such great hosts, and it was impressive to see all the new furniture, appliances and equipment in the club room, the place looks amazing after all your hard work!

Carol worked hard to welcome everyone and make sure the guest book was filled up.
She sold lots of tickets for the 50/50 draw, too!
