Librarians from VIRL Campbell River visit Tahsis

Thanks to Emily and Patrick, the librarians who came out to Tahsis to share information with the kids at CMESS about the summer reading programs starting at the end of June.  The kids had a lot of fun, and were inspired to visit the library this summer.  The silly songs, games and stories were well received!  The summer reading program is sure to be a fun learning experience for kids of all ages here in Tahsis.

Later at the library, children's librarian Emily charmed Baby Gaia with songs and rhymes, and Patrick answered any tech questions that patrons might have, dealing with the library online, ebooks, research, with any and all questions welcomed!

We are so fortunate in Tahsis to have such an amazing library system.  The talented and friendly  Corinne V. is a huge support to everyone who enters our library.

Our library hours are changing, with 8 more hours per week, starting July 1st, from the Vancouver Island Regional Library website:  Realignment of Branch Hours
