Road closed

 5:40pm TUESDAY NOVEMBER 19: Please be advised that Highway 28 and Head Bay FSR have been closed due to weather conditions, with high wind resulting in trees falling on to the highway.

Our maintenance contractor has set up the road closure and we are currently monitoring conditions. Winds are expected to diminish into the evening and overnight and once crews can safely access and clear the roads they will be reopened.

I will provide an update as further information is available.
