EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
A HAM radio course is proposed to be delivered to interested Tahsis residences on the following dates:
Friday October 13 6-9pm
Saturday October 14 10am-4
Sunday October 15 10am-4
Friday October 27 6-9pm
Saturday October 28 10am-4
Sunday October 29 10am-4
Saturday October 14 10am-4
Sunday October 15 10am-4
Friday October 27 6-9pm
Saturday October 28 10am-4
Sunday October 29 10am-4
Depending on interest this course may be delivered in Tahsis or in Gold River. Please let me know if you are interested in learning to be a HAM radio operator. Cost to be determined but likely about $50. Zeballos persons can also attend. If Gold River location is chosen due to numbers then we will need to car pool.
A marine radio operators course may be delivered in the future based on interest, but the cost would be $100 due to the Power Squadron requirement of $55 student book for each individual. Please email me your interest for HAM radio at:
