Former Cedar Mill Site Clean Up

The Cedar Mill Site getting tidied up

 At a recent Council meeting, Western Forest Products representatives presented options for new fencing around the former cedar mill site on Head Bay Road.  Council selected an attractive fencing option using a solid cedar fence.  It is great to see that site getting cleaned up, especially since it's one of the first views as you come into Tahsis, and it could end up being a beautiful and welcoming entrance to town.  In addition to the fencing, WFP, Nootka Reforestation and the Village will partner up to improve the landscaping in front of the fence.  I can't wait to see the transformation!
