Family Literacy Day at the Tahsis Branch of VIRL

Vancouver Island Regional Library has 39 branches throughout the area to offer many resources to patrons of all ages.  In Tahsis, to celebrate Family Literacy Day (January 27), 12 people dropped in to the local branch for some colouring, (can't get enough of the trend of adult colouring!) songs, puppets, computer games and stories.

The toddlers explored, rearranged some of the children section books and charmed everyone.

The teens and adults coloured, took turns engaging the little ones, and had hilarious spoiler free discussions of the new Star Wars movie, and traded music and fantasy book recommendations.
