Remembrance Day 2015 in Tahsis

A large crowd of Tahsis residents gathered at the cenotaph to lay wreaths and pay respects during a Remembrance Day ceremony today hosted by the Junior Canadian Rangers.

Wreaths were laid on behalf of several organizations and businesses in Tahsis

Veteran Dave Madill and his wife Barb.  Yesterday Dave spoke to students during the CMESS Remembrance Day ceremony.  Thank you Dave for helping teach our youth about your service to Canada.

Dan Dahling MC'ed the ceremony as the Patrol Leader of the Tahsis Junior Canadian Ranger Patrol

The Senior's Society offered free soup, sandwiches and treats afterwards, and their excellent cooks fed us well.
