Explanation from Ellises
A few years ago after a trip to the Maritimes, we decided that it would be nice if Tahsis had some Adarondac chairs placed where people could sit and enjoy the view as they do in parks in the Maritimes.
We talked with the Village when we bought 4 chairs with some funds left after the Chamber of Commerce folded. It was agreed that it would be best if they had some chain or something to secure them. So now the Village has placed these two chairs in the very best possible place, with a beautiful base!
Now that the chairs are secured we are having some memorial plaques made to place on the chairs to honour some outstanding past members of the Chamber of Commerce.
