The Tahsis Days River Rats raft race was a huge event this year! This year the race hosted once again by Brenda Overton, was sponsored by contract loggers and Lorraine Rowsell in memory of Edward J. Rowsell.
Lots of fun on the river. Sabotage, hijinks, trash talk, fierce grudge matches and boasting were the rule of the run. Congratulations to first prize winners, Bill Griswold, Ronald Taylor and Chantelle Prior! Second place went to BC Ambulance Service, and third place went to the Tahsis Fire Department.
