Fr. Michael Tran will celebrate Christmas Mass at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25th at 2:00. All are invited. Anyone needing a ride , please call Frank Collins at 6674.

Christmas Eve Caroling

Everyone is invited to come to this community event. We will sing carols and eat snacks at the Senior Centre on Monday, December 24 at 7:00. Bring a plate of sweets to share if you can. If you need a ride, contact olson.stephanie2009@gmail.com.

Wreath making workshop

Tahsis Literacy Society sponsored the 5th annual wreath making workshop and it was a total success.
Danielle, Louise and Amanda gathered every form of greenery in the pouring rain so the 25 participants had much to choose from.

People worked hard to produce beautiful items. Coffee and sweets were served.

The results were varied and stunning.

Santa Claus has come to town

In pouring rain, Santa and the firefighters and the Lions Club members spent hours driving the town and delivering sweets. The fire chief's car and the two trucks made a short parade.

Village of Tahsis posted - Due to a power pole on fire, Cardiac Climb is closed until further notice. There is no risk to the public and BC Hydro is on its way.

Canada Post released stamps to honour our emergency responders and at the council meeting last week .Postmistress Amanda  presented a plaque of the paramedic stamp & firefighter stamp to our Tahsis stations.

Wreath making workshop

This is a free event. If you don't have the tools, come anyway. People will share. Below is a photo of a swag at Willow Point if you'd like to do something besides a wreath. You could always make a centrepiece.

Murder Mystery Night

Ubedam Theatre is considering having another murder mystery party on New Year's Eve. This social event with food and drink requires participants to play a role and solve the "murder" of one of the character. The event would be at the Spar Tree pub and cost about $20.
