Pool closure

Little Free Library is complete

Tahsis' Little Free Library is officially finished. Jim put the charter plate on this morning. As it says, "Take a book. Share a book." If you don't have one to share at this time, bring one later. Vancouver Regional Library sends some each month to stock it. Thanks again to Tahsis Literacy Society for sponsoring this project.

Here's what the fire looked like from the village this morning. It's not possible to get a shot this afternoon because there is so much smoke the source doesn't show up. We are told it is 4 km away but there is no immediate danger.

Jennifer T. will lead free aquafit at the rec centre pool on Tuesday, August 14 and Tuesday, August 21 from 3:45 to 4:45.

Groomer in Gold River

We took Sarah's dog to the groomer in Gold River. She gets three stars.
1. She did the work in the time it took us to have lunch.
2. She did an excellent job on a very jittery dog.
3. She charged a reasonable price.

Her shop is located in the Gold River mall next door to the BC Liquor store.
