Tahsis is a remote village on the west coast of Vancouver Island. With only 400 residents, we don't have many of the conveniences of larger towns but we do have community spirit and lots to do in our spectacularly wild and beautiful environment.

Tsunami Warning
I am not in town, so missed last night's tsunami warning. From online I gather many people were woken by the alarm and evacuated to higher ground. In a couple of hours, they returned home. Seems like there are a few bugs to work out of the system, but many things went right. Thanks to ESS for supervising.
