Yoga Details

Tuesday and Thursdays
3:30

Tuesday sessions are Flow or Vinyasa yoga. The practitioners of this forms of yoga combine movement to breathe and flow from one pose to another in a sequence.

Here is a good description of what it is and benefits: http://www.flowhoodriver.com/benefits-of-yoga/

Thursday sessions are Yin yoga, a passive stretch. This kind of yoga is for those who have injuries, or are unsure of their skills or abilities in yoga. This type of yoga is good for restoring the body back to a healthy place after daily stress has taken a toll.

We will have both a Tuesday and Thursday class this week. People can bring their own mats and equipment, they can borrow the ones at the rec centre. We have some for sale at the rec centre too. Mats are 22$ and bolsters are 45$. We have a limited number for purchase.

Classes are free, but if people wish to donate they are welcome to. They can donate at the front desk any time. Money raised will go towards more equipment.

PAC Christmas Bazaar

The yearly school Christmas Bazaar took place on Sunday. A good time like always.

This year there was live music for nearly the entire three hours: Jim Baron, Twang Gang, Nootka Sounds and Carla and Laura. What a nice addition.

The regular tables were there but there were several new ones -

Amanda K. sold her paintings.
 Lynda sold Scentsy products.
 Glenda had green arrangements.
Kathy A. had a table of quilted works.
Katie sold all kinds of baking.
Jim G., a new resident had great wooden toys.

Santa and Mrs. Claus came. Some kids were glad to see him.
Some not so much.
Thanks to all who work hard to organize this. And thanks to Lynda L.and Debbie V. for their photos.
