Tahsis Library opening procedures

Thursday is just a training day.
The Tahsis Library will be offering Take Out Service (and returns!) starting Friday, June 26.
Appointments will be arranged by telephone, with first priority given to patrons who currently have items on the hold shelf. Access is limited to the ramp, and appointments will be set up in 10 minute windows. Curbside hours are 2-3 pm and 6-7 pm on Thursdays, and 10-12 and 2-3 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Self-service pottery store

The Tahsis Artisans’ Coop isn’t going to be open this summer because of Covid. Elsie H. has set up a table  of pottery on the front of her house, 1162 Tipperary. Shop anytime.

CMESS graduation 2020

The high school had one graduating senior this year and in COVID times it took a different approach. The fire truck, ambulance and cars lined up, honked their horns and passed the school in parade style to wish Jordan the best.

Graduation parade











This Friday (June 19th), we are celebrating Jordan Evan’s graduation by organizing a parade! The fire department is confirmed to be attending. We are also inviting community members to join in the celebration and would love for you to join! Cars are welcome to congregate at the RCMP detachment at 11:15am to prepare for 11:30am start. Hope you can make it! Please share with others that you think would be interested! We would love to have as big of a support group as possible.

Westview Marina & Lodge is kicking off it's restaurant opening with a "Belated Mother's Day" dinner JUNE 14TH, 5pm-8pm. This is by reservation only. We are serving two delicious options:

Message from Tahsis Fish Processing


With COVID and the few clients we are having, we are not at the shop for as many hours as normal. We are at the shop between 3-6 everyday but If we are not there, call me on my cell and we will be happy to meet you. 425-535-5536. (Thank goodness for cell service in Tahsis now!)
Strange times, but we are trying to figure it out and make the best of it. Thanks for working with us.
